In May 2015, Mosaic acquired 705 Edgewood, a 77,209 square foot, office and industrial property located in Northeast, Washington, DC. The property is anchored by Capital Village School and City-State Brewery, which occupy about half of the property. We recently executed a lease with New Columbia Solar to make 705 Edgewood Street their new headquarters. The property is located next to the Rhode Island Avenue Metro Station (Red Line) in an emerging, upwardly trending DC neighborhood, two stops from Union Station and the US Capitol. The asset is currently undergoing a renovation to overhaul the look of the asset. The market is also undergoing a revitalization with the completion of Bryant Street, which added 375 residential units and 45,000 of new retail space adjacent to our property.
